Human Resources at The Rockefeller University handles academic appointments, staff recruitment, administration of benefits, administration and explanation of policies and procedures, affirmative action, employee relations, and immigration. The Administrator, Human Resources will be responsible for the ordering and organization of all office needs and supplies on two separate floors, managing the departmental budget, handling the processing of contracts, invoices and billing for all groups, reconciling corporate cards, purchasing and supervising the maintenance of office and computer equipment, maintaining filing systems, and operating as a liaison to the necessary departments across campus. Will facilitate communication, manage and resolve issues and develop strong business relationships. Will receive walk-ins, answer main phone lines, file, and participate as needed in special departmental projects.
Bachelor's degree and five years of related work experience preferred. Coursework or knowledge of Human Resources processes and procedures necessary. Must be an outstanding communicator with strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills. Must be able to prioritize, take initiative, be attentive to detail, and have a focus on quality. Advanced computer skills necessary.
