We investigate the regulatory mechanisms of RNA interference, microRNA-mediated translational control, and RNA-guided chromatin modifications. Classical and combinatorial biochemical techniques are used to analyze the function of the RNA- and protein-components involved in those processes.

The Laboratory of RNA Molecular Biology is looking for a highly motivated individual help advance ongoing projects in the lab.
Responsibilities
The Research Assistant will participate in a multi-disciplinary program focused on thein the development of orally available anti-viral drugs for the treatment of viruses with pandemic potential.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in science required
Educational emphasis in chemistry and biochemistry preferred
Must be familiar with recombinant protein expression and purification
Preparation of reagents, and other basic chemistry and molecular biology techniques
Experience using robotic liquid handling equipment preferred
Must have ability to work independently, as well as interact professionally and effectively in a collaborative work environment.
